Just Say β€˜Yes’ to Life!

Amazon New Best Selling Novel Campaign

Successfully project managed the multi-faceted literary project, "Just Say 'Yes' to Life!" This inspirational novel compiled the stories of 26 stroke survivors, offering hope and resilience to the stroke community. Overseeing a dedicated team of 9 writers and a single editor, we worked diligently to complete the survivor interviews and finalize the book in time for National Caregiver Month. Through a strategic and organic marketing campaign utilizing the networks of everyone associated with the novel, we not only achieved our initial goal of selling 1,000 copies within the first month but far surpassed it, selling over 4,000 copies internationally. The novel's success was further cemented when it topped the Amazon New Best-Seller rankings.

Stroke Awareness Oregon

At Stroke Awareness Oregon, I led the development activities for Stroke Awareness Month (May), managing a diverse range of events to support our non-profit's mission. This overall financial development campaign entailed a live-streamed play event, an online auction, a professional luncheon, and an exciting Bingo night, all of which I either produced, facilitated, or project managed during a one month period. Additionally, I ran daily development campaigns for World Stroke Day and Giving Tuesday. My leadership and strategic planning resulted in increased engagement and substantial financial support for our organization, showcasing my ability to manage and deliver successful, multifaceted campaigns.
